Fans are petitioning Samsung to bring the Bluetooth S Pen back
The Galaxy S25 Ultra does not come with a Bluetooth enabled S Pen, so Samsung fans are petitioning for its return in the Galaxy S26. The post Fans are petitioning Samsung to bring the Bluetooth S Pen back appeared first on Phandroid.
Samsung launched the Galaxy S25 Ultra earlier this month. The handset came with a bunch of upgrades that makes it quite the power house, but there was one aspect that Samsung downgraded. This came in the form of the S Pen, which for the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra is not Bluetooth enabled.
It might not seem like a big deal. For the most part it does what a stylus should do, minus some of the Bluetooth-related features. However, for some it is a big deal. To the point where some Samsung fans have launched a petition on Change.org where they’re asking Samsung to bring back the Bluetooth S Pen for the Galaxy S26 Ultra.
For context, Samsung plans on selling a Bluetooth enabled S Pen separately. The company claims that the reason they removed the Bluetooth version from the Galaxy S25 Ultra is because some of its features, like Air Gestures, weren’t very popular. So the company decided that they would just remove Bluetooth capability.
However, it feels more like a cash grab than anything. Similar to how Apple claimed to be saving the environment by not including chargers with its iPhones, but are more than happy to sell you one separately. We’re not sure if Samsung will listen to this petition. We suppose it depends on how popular or widespread it gets, so we’ll have to wait and see.
In the meantime, what do you think? Does the lack of Bluetooth functionality in the S Pen matter to you? Or do you plan to buy the Bluetooth version anyway?
