The piece will be pre-recorded at his Mar-a-Lago residence in Palm Beach and will air on Sunday during the 3pm hour. According to a statement from Fox, the interview will ‘focus on the changes the Trump administration has enacted since the Inauguration and the first 100 days of his presidency’. Presidents have been addressing the public on Super Bowl Sunday for the last two decades, beginning with CBS anchor Jim Nantz’s interview with then-President George W. Bush in 2004. Back in 2019, Trump also famously said he would struggle to allow his then-12-year-old son Barron to play football due to concussion concerns. “I just don’t like the reports that I see coming out having to do with football — I mean, it’s a dangerous sport and I think it’s really tough,” he said at the time. “I hate to say it because I love to watch football.
