Destiny 2 Teams Up With Star Wars For Episode: Heresy Cosmetics

Two of my love/hate franchises collide as Destiny 2 teams up with Star Wars for Episode: Heresy cosmetic items. The announcement was made by Destiny 2 developers Bungie at a live-stream yesterday. I watched the stream, which was a preview of the upcoming Episode: Heresy which launches Tuesday, February 4th.

As you can see from the header image above, each class gets its own armour skin cosmetic. From left to right we have the Hunter, Titan and Warlock classes respectively. I play all three classes but I mostly play Titan. Though, I will say I prefer the Warlock one here which is themed on the Imperial Guards.

I guess these will be purchasable in game to begin with. However, I’ll wait till they are free or earnable through Bright Dust which you collect just by playing. There is also a ship, which as you can see is modelled on a TIE fighter. I’m actually surprised that there’s not a Sparrow design, since they are essentially Star Wars speeder bikes. However, they did say there’s other accessories and emotes that are not shown in the image above, so perhaps there will be a Sparrow?

The content launches alongside Heresy next Tuesday the 4th, the third Episode of the epilogue of the Light and Dark saga which ended with Destiny 2‘s last major expansion The Final Shape.
