DAIRIKU and Weber Honor David Lynch With 'Blue Velvet' Collection
DAIRIKU and Weber have come together to honor the late David Lynch with a collection focused on Blue Velvet.The capsule, which arrives alongside a showing of the film's 4K remastered version, consists of apparel that highlight some of the film's most memorable imagery. Joining the collection is a knitwear sweater crafted with brushed yarn that's knitted to resemble velvet, as well as an oversized open-collar silhouette. Artwork from the film's Italian release and Japanese commercial copy are pressed on a series T-shirts, which are washed to create a more relaxed fit.Blue Velvet premiered in 1986 and starred Kyle MacLachlan, Isabella Rossellini, Dennis Hopper and Laura Dern. It followed the story of a college boy who returns to his suburban hometown and ends uncovering a criminal conspiracy that involves a troubled lounge singer.
