FPS fans who have been waiting for Apogee Entertainment and developer Trigger Happy Interactive to bring their over-the-top sci-fi FPS Turbo Overkill to consoles can rest easy. Originally launching on PC via Steam back in August 2023, the critically acclaimed, hyper-fast-paced cyberpunk “boomer shooter” is now available on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Xbox Series and the Nintendo Switch.

Black Sheep Studio handled the port, which has been made to ensure every detail met the highest standard. The results include upgraded visuals, significantly improved performance, and a port building upon Turbo Overkill’s retro-meets-modern FPS experience that earned the distinction as one of Metacritic’s top 25-rated PC games in 2023. PC fans don’t have to worry, as a new “Enhanced Visuals” mode is also available now.

If that’s not enough, there will also a Turbo Overkill Digital Deluxe Edition launching in March that includes the following:

  • A 42-page digital prequel comic, “Turbo Overkill: Original Syn,” exploring Johnny’s life before his cyber-augmentations and expanding the game’s backstory.
  • A comprehensive 140-page digital artbook, featuring early concepts, models, and behind-the-scenes design and gameplay insights—including ideas that didn’t make the final cut.
  • A 35-minute soundtrack sampler crafted by composers Chipper Hammond, Nikola Jeremic, and Tim Stoney.
