He said: “Strange is taking a bit of a hiatus during Doomsday,” However, he teased that the Sorcerer Supreme will return in Secret Wars, where he’ll play a “quite central” role in the climactic conclusion to Marvel’s Multiverse Saga.Cumberbatch shared his excitement saying: “I’m really excited not only to work with the Russo brothers again but also to have Robert Downey Jr. returning as Doctor Doom. I think there’s going to be some really cool developments ahead, and I’m excited to see what happens next.”It will be interesting to see how Strange is utilized in Secret Wars. In theSecret Wars storyline from 2015, Strange served as the Sheriff of Agamotto and right-hand man to God Emperor Doom.
