Ben Affleck Set To Direct Gillian Anderson in Netflix Thriller ANIMALS
Ben Affleck has set up his next directing gig at Netlix, a thriller titled Animals and Gillian Anderson is set to star in it. The script for the project was written by Connor McIntyre and Billy Ray and it will shoot in Los Angeles. All we know about the story is that it revolves around a kidnapping. There are no other detail on the story to share. But, I like that fact that Affleck and Anderson are teaming up on a film project!I like the films that Affleck has made as a director and I’m curious to see what he’s got up his sleeve for this one. According to the report, “Affleck was eyeing this film as his next directing outing last year but was only planning to direct with Damon in line for the starring role. A holdup with the rights held up start of production and Affleck ultimately had to move on to a sequel to The Accountant with Animals pushing.”Affleck decided to jump on Animals after starring alongside Damon in the Joe Caranahan action film RIP. With Damon starring in Christopher Nolan’s next movie The Odyssey, Affleck decided that he will star in Animals himself. Source: Deadline
